The farther south we moved through Iran, the more the landscape seemed to press back against us. Heat thickened the air until it felt almost tangible, as if the world itself had slowed. Only then did I begin to understand what it truly means when the thermometer climbs to 40°C (104°F)—not just a number, but a physical presence.

The strict dress code has, after all, influenced my attitude toward clothing. In Kyiv, after living in Tehran, I began to prefer simple and comfortable things. Comfort became more important than the desire to please everyone; I no longer wanted to attract attention on the street.
At the airport, we were met by an old friend who immediately asked, "What is there to miss in Iran?" I don’t answer—I know he wouldn't believe me anyway.

Yes, this is the Haida style, which was created and preserved to this day by the native inhabitants of North America, the Haida tribe. They decorated their own bodies with such drawings.
